Sick but thankful for Publix
Yesterday afternoon once Jeremy got home from work, I headed to the local urgent care since I don't have a doctor here yet and felt like I needed an antibiotic. It turns out that I have a sinus infection, which is exactly what I expected. The doctor's bill was high since we have a $5000 deductible and no co-pay, but I was so relieved when the doctor told me that Publix offers free antibiotics. Yes, you read right. FREE. I quickly took my prescription over there and got 14 days of antibiotic without spending a dime. Thank you, Publix!

ReplyDeleteI have no idea why it's free, but I wasn't about to question them! I saw the list of about 10 antibiotics that are free, so remember that the next time you or your little ones need one. The doctor said Target would have charged me $4, but I thought why pay that when I can get it for free?

ReplyDeletePublix gave us free Amoxil for the baby's ear infection. Amoxil only cost like $8 to begin with, but Thanks, Publix! =) Feel better soon!
